Dermatologists say watermelon can make your skin look juicy and plump.

Watermelon, which is hydrating, sweet, and tinged with nostalgia, is a bright star among fruits. However, its attraction extends beyond that. Watermelon is also highly valued in the beauty sector, particularly in skincare. What is a watermelon?

Watermelon, also known as Citrullus lanatus, is a big, delicious fruit made up primarily of water. It comprises around 92% water and 7.55% carbs. This is what makes this delicious fruit incredibly hydrating and refreshing to consume. Watermelon has numerous health benefits because it contains lycopene, vitamin A, vitamin C, and antioxidants.1Watermelon has a few possible skincare benefits: it’s moisturising, may reduce inflammation, and contains antioxidants that are good for skin health.
